I am in dispute at the moment with tax office as they say I have been overpaid £5000. I have asked for the copies of the original forms I filled in, and they did respond to that but by sending mine and some one elses!! This includes another families:- names, address, dates of birth, details of all children including dates of birth, child benefit number, NI numbers, bank account number including sort code!! etc etc. I have tried to contact the other family but the number is not responding. Havent told tax credits yet am still deciding what to do. Any ideas? National newspaper, tv perhaps??

OMG that's terrible - and we're meant to trust them?? Sadly it doesn't suprise me what they get up to. Yes, you've got to get this information out there about how totally incompetent they've been. Also, however you get the information out there make sure you go through their official complaints channels aswell.0

Ummm - I think it might be a good idea to tell the tax credit people. They're after you for 5k and you don't want to pay it.....0

You can tell a lot about a woman by her hands..........for instance, if they are placed around your throat, she's probably slightly upset.
