  • Many GPs are not only happy to provide fit notes for people that are unable to work, and also don't like the current government regime regarding disability assessments and benefits.

This gives info on claiming ESA and DLA, but as previous posters have said, your first port of call needs to be your GP.

You can tell a lot about a woman by her hands..........for instance, if they are placed around your throat, she's probably slightly upset. ;)

I can't say anything useful but I know exactly how you feel about all the symptoms you listed. It's an awful way to live and feels like noone understands. I hope you get sorted. You're braver than me, I can't even get up the courage to pick up the phone to call a doctor. Shaking like a leaf just typing it. Best of luck to you.

your doctor may well be able to suggest treatment to relieve your distressing symptoms and thus enable you to get a life back.

I know this is a benefit board but your emphasis needs to be on getting better rather than simply sourcing an income. I would hope no GP will simply provide fit notes rather than treatment.
