What time do funds appear overnight?

Exactly that lol. If money is due in my RBS account today (friday), when will they appear? I thought it would be midnight? Never had to check at his time, but had a large payout (due today) and quite excited!!:T
The feeling i got when i confirmed my place studying criminology at Exeter Uni was brilliant!!!!!

    between 2am and 2:30am,

    online banking is normal available again at 2:45.

    currently with Santander and its payday today 31st but the funds showed at 10.30pm last night but with 31st showing and funds available - find that odd! but its always been like that - sometimes funds have shown as early as 8pm the day before payday!!
