Loot at other employment forums and you will see lots post about unions and all of them bad, some people have to take action against their union for no help despite paying them subscription every month.

    All of them? Really?

What about all the [thousands of] people who don't have to post on forums because their unions have helped them?
If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.

    (a) People generally don't post about how happy they are - about unions or anything else. How many posts are there on employment forums saying "My employer is brilliant, I love my job, and nothing is wrong"???

    (b) We have no way of knowing how many of these people are also unhappy with their union because they didn't get the advice they wanted or the help they wanted - which is not the same thing as not getting advice or help.

    (c) I am very happy with my union, thank you, and consider that the money I have spent on subscriptions over many decades has been worth every penny.

Can where are the thousands of people and how do you know this if there is no evidence of it.

Here is some of the post I was referring to and I am sure there a lots more on other forums and I will post them when you post your links to posts where unions have helped them.

    Eh?

So you've provided evidence of 3 people. :T

By the absence of thousands of people posting about their upset - it is an inference that they are not unhappy. It's logic. Which as we can see by your sentence 'arrangements' you may be unfamiliar with.

I think if you look through the threads it is a lot more than 3 people....
Where is your thousands of people that are happy with their union service ??

By the powers of greystoke I command you to try thinking about things before you start trying to make huge generalisations.

*A generalisation is verified by seeing if it holds true for any given situation. As Marybelle stated earlier that she is indeed happy with her union, your summation of 'Loot [sic] at other employment forums and you will see lots post about unions and all of them bad' is therefore proved wrong and hence, your generalisation is incorrect.
As people do not generally go online into employment forums stating how happy they are with their union, and the unions would not continue if all of their members were unhappy, we can surmise that not every union member would post about their union in a bad way. This reinforces the theory that your generalisation is incorrect.

Congrats on picking up typos, well done...:A:A:A
For posters that are not as clever as you 'Loot' should read 'Look'

One person does not compare to thousands...:D:D:D

3 people are not 'all' people.

Unions would not exist if a majority of their members were not happy with them.
