Yes the 3 for 2 works on the cheapest but they all work within their own department. Cheapie shampoo to expensive shampoo.
Cheapie toothpaste to expensive toothpaste, see what I'm getting at?
Do we know this for sure though? i.e. has it been tried and failed on other 3 for 2's in store? Certainly when I worked at Mr M some years ago, the ambrosia and coke were just under the 'grocery' department so if this was the case it should still work. Granted shampoo did come under 'health and beauty' though. Just throwing some more confusion in the mix!! :rotfl::rotfl:Gwrys yn Kernow! :j0 -
It was Best Price and Celebrate who posted their wombles, I guessed at first it was doubling the cheapest item and suggested we needed Caz to do the sums.
Next morning a couple more wombles think one was from Gardenia and one from Floflo which threw a bit more light on the glitch and I said my theory was it was doubling the cheapest item and then along came Caz with the maths for my theory. HTHs
Definitely credit to Tinyshoes and Caz :T:T:T
I just found and posted the womble:D

Thanks but whoever figured out the 3 for 2 glitch has to do the next one (and a few after!)
I still have no idea who to thank though. All the cloak and dagger over the poo glitch got in the way (posts being edited/deleted/removed)

then Misslaid posted a dental womble which I deciphered as glitching like the shampoo and then Looby spotted that all 3 for 2's were glitching!"He that lieth down with dogs shall rise up with fleas" Benjamin Franklin

the thing is Cosmic.....on the 342 deals, the products are listed within their catergory on msm...ie if you type in Domestos...find one thats 342 then select the 'view all 342'...it only brings up specific 342 deals within the cleaning catergory.....
this is where I cocked it up with the hairdye at W...as it was on 342 I thought it would work with the JF serum i bought...but it didnt because the Clairol range is under one catergory of 342 and the JF is under another .....( i know certain bits are crossing over and I dont know why - havent fathomed it all ot yet!!).....
but the 2for1 catergory shows everything together....food, toiletries etc... ie if you search for Coke, select one thats on 2for1...select 'view all 2for1' it will bring up all offers on 2for1 ie food, toiletries, drinks etc........so theoretically it should work
well...thats my theory anyway....now who's gonna run out and prove it right?hoping for a very MSE Ts glitching 2012!0 -

ooooo nice one!Lala the hair dye queen!!
eta: I honestly hadn't seen your following post! :rotfl:
Kadison - just to say the Black Cherry is more of a reddish colour - I have dark brown hair and use this, it's not bright red but definitely more red than the name suggests, I love it though!
Cheers, I don't mind trying it out at that price though, if it's too red I'll just wait for it to fade a bit then dye it black for another few penceAnd a happy birthday to my Mam who is 93 today. When I was in Sains, my sister rang from the home for me to talk to Mam. She was there with my brother, my neice and the two little 'uns, and they were having a lovely time. Mam was very lucid today, my sister asked her to sing me her song and Mam sang 'She'll be coming round the mountain when she comes' chorus, all by herself, with no prompting and you could here the joy in her voice. People were staring at me in the store as I was crying, and singing, and shouting so she could hear me, as she told me that my brother and sister had put banners up on her wall and she had flowers too. My sister text me a little later to say that, when the staff came in with her birthday cake and sang Happy Birthday to her, she said 'Thank you very much, that was lovely'
[STRIKE]I had to use pic with Mom as I couldn't find a Geordie version with Mam[/STRIKE]
Oooopss that was ENORMOUS so deleted it and did a different search and found a MAM one :j
