I'm downloading the Asda app on the iPhone. Apparently you can input details from your receipt. Might be handy in case of disputes instore?

I downloaded this yesterday morning, when I was in A's in the afternoon the SA didn't know the price of a gala melon for the person in front , they called for a price check but was taking ages so I looked it up for him :D
  • Just got back from A's when I gave the checkout lad the APG'S he said I have to check these as there are some fake ones about  He said they had all been briefed about it this morning and they have to check the transaction number against the apg.I had to show him where the transaction number was!! He put them all though fine no problems one of them was for over £18 and I had only spent £25 but he never checked that just the transaction number :D

Aww I'm sorry to hear that. Not sure if you said what happened. I do read every post but have to admit to a bit of skim reading here n there as I would be on here 24/7 otherwise :D
Hope your feeling better soon and not in too much pain :)

    Awww, Thanks Lesley! :o
Nothing happened per say, Ive had chronic fatigue syndrome for years. Ive got costochondritis now aswell, (inflammation of cartalige in ribs) which ive had since my second pregnancy (shes nearly 2 now!) ontop of bipolar disorder etc.
It wouldnt be so bad, but im only 24!! Some days I feel closer to 54 :o
I manage well enough and I get to stay home with my children which I am eternally grateful for! :T

Her uniform seems so tiny, seeing it hanging up with her reading folder and bag...makes me want to cry :(

    afternoon all :)
    happy birthday MMW (i think?)

thanks to purd for advice RE Leo, boyfriend came over and got him to sleep in five minutes, couldnt believe it smug sod lol.

Took leo to doctors yesterday about his nappy rash doctor told me "should have bought him here sooner its very infected" i eplained i thought it was normal nappy rash and was just trying to get it under control myself but he was annoyed.

he then told me leo is obese and he wants to weigh him so got him on scales and he was 25kg (4stone) doctor said he is far to overweight and i explained hes always been big since he was born and said apart from sweets sometimes like i think most kids have he sometimes only drinks milk and wont even touch his dinner etc, i dont fill him up with rubbish but doctor made me feel like the worst person alive, i asked him for advice then got told social services are going to want to know what i'm doing to him to make him like this if there is nothing wrong with his glands etc, i dont really know what else he said my head was spining after this he made it sound like leo was going to get taken off of me for being over weight :(:(:(
walked back to where mum was and just broke down couldnt breath felt like i was dying, felt like i was going to collapse infront of everyone.mum told me to write everything i give him down and see if maybe i realise "oh he is having that too much" etc but i just feel so bad i havent stopped crying all night i dont know what to do i dont want them to take my boy from me :(:(:(:(

I am absolutely disgusted with what I have just read. How dare your doctor talk to you like that and make you feel that way. Saying the things he has said is not going to make you feel confident in seeking help in the future if needed. I know the words "social services" can scare the life out of people but try not to worry. Taking children from their families is done as a last resort and I'm sure you have nothing to worry about. If your boy is over weight, you will be given help, advise and support to get his weight down. Something that your doctor is obviously incapable of doing. :)

    Update:

I can vouch for the usefulness of the Asda app. Dead easy to input details for the voucher to pop up clearly on the screen. I am definitely gonna use this if there is a dispute!
Don't do it! They'll probably staple your receipt to the phone and stick it in the till
