Yes, That's pretty much spot on well done for doing your research!!:j

you don't always need to use SP items tho, if your doing a normally shop, these can be used to as long as they are not on offer in T's:cool:

ketchup will work with the wine;) but be careful you apg doesn't creep to high!:)

Still catching up but thank you. :)

Research I tell you I can't think of anything else and with my father waiting to see his consultant on Thursday it is a welcome distraction.

So thank you for that. :A

And I chickened out of the ketchup with wine as I figured that as I was dipping my toe in the water so to speak if I got one positive result then I would be happy.

Though I would of gone for the shampoo if I could have.

    Back to catching up now.

Haagan das 500ml are half price in sainsburys so £2.20 ish pp!

Some of the takeaway pizza are also reduced at Sainsburys. £3 at Ss vs £3.99

So original price £8.44 at Ts vs £5.22 at Ss if, like before the PP doesn't 'see' the offer.

Itching to go and test this. Just need to get baby to settle!

    Afternoon all.

Am just starting to catch up, so apologizes if this has been asked/answered already.

I saw in Tesco this morning on my way to work that they have a £5 meal deal - Chicago town pizza & haagen daz ice cream.

Has anyone seen if this produces a JTD yet?

Chicago town takeaway are also £1 cheaper in sainsburys so a potential £3 odd JTD making a £5 meal deal VERY good value. Go go go.

Oooooh sounds interesting - I missed the last meal deal as I was on hols

    Hi all

Goodness me, the Collective Elite Brain is huge. But alas, no A's within rooting distance so I'm out.

There is a product recall for OVEN PRIDE cleaners if anyone has some (good old dtd days :)). Just take to nearest retailer and you will get a full refund.

Contact if you have any problems is 0845 605 2981.

Ah I'd heard about this! Not that quick off the mark around me though... I managed to buy a few oven pride items last night!
I'm not fussed about the recall personally as my bottles are kept well out of the reach of any children, but good for others to know just in case!

Dear Tesco, after reading a similar post I now feel i owe you an appology as well, i usually shop around 6pm on a saturday in your Portadown, N Ireland store, I always seem to get in the way of your student check-out operators, for this I am truly sorry, I know its important they discuss their plans for the evening ahead and almost always step aside so they can communicate face to face, I know I shouldnt get frustrated when I need to ask for my Tesco card to be scanned, in future I will get customer services to add my points, its really not fair to hold up their conversation, their time is precious and perhaps they are volunteer workers, therefore my money is of no importance towards wages etc, please extend my appologies to all your student workers and wish them well from me on their weekend plans.

    How about this one. :D

    Dear Tesco,

I just wanted to apologise for the fact that I was cluttering up your store earlier today. I was trying to purchase my shopping but my trolley kept getting in the way of your home delivery packers. Fortunately they were able to shove me out of the way most of the time. Sometimes when they were trying to reach a product I didn't immediately move when they tutted at me, which I feel terrible about now.

Of course I was hugely outnumbered by them and the fact that they leave their carts right in front of the most popular items is something that I clearly understand.

I also felt that at times my attempting to get past with my trolley may have interrupted the chatting and flirting that they were doing whilst their carts blocked the aisles.

I would feel bereft if my intervention had prevented the course of true love from running smoothly.

Anyway, I hope you will accept my apology.
Next time I will try and keep out of the way more.

    Regards,

    Mark Powlett

I forgot about them looking at original price. I was happy to pay £1.79 but it should work out MUCH cheaper!!!
