Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
I understand the whole 3for2 & matching items scenario, but can anyone explain why the 3rd item needs to be a cheapie? Is that what triggers the glitch please?
  • OK, my head hurts now!
So is it because i bought 8 in total rather than 9? So if I'd bought one more of something it would have be fine?!

Me and this glitch are done with :rotfl::rotfl:
Yeah needs to be in multiples of 3 but only 1 cheapie :)

Yes basically it only compares to cheapest item price doubled then divide by 3

Did have a feeling it wasn't going to go quite to plan.
    I blame Mother...

Not quite sure what's happened though, here is the shampoo part of it -

2 x Wella Shockwaves Ultra Strong Power Mousse £4.00 £0.32
2 x Wella Shockwaves Ultra Strong Power Hold Hair Spray £4.00 £.530
    1 x Herbal Essences Hello Hydration Shampoo (200ml) £1.00 £0.16
    1 x Herbal Essences Tousle Me Softly Shampoo (200ml) £1.00 £0.16
    2 x ASDA Smartprice Conditioner (500ml) £.048 £.032

Did I get one too many shampoo?
Bah, said it was easier just getting Head and Shoulders for me :rotfl:

Still got a voucher for £3.86 and spent £11, not the worst result in the world, plus I've still got my other one to use on myself anyways
So shall make it up by telling Mother she owes me £8 ;)
You only got 8 haircare when you should have got 9.
I made a mistake once, believeing people on the internet were my virtual friends. It won't be a mistake that I make again!

Yep, should have had an extra SP conditioner:(.
You should have brought another smart price conditioner

    2 expensive & 1 cheap.
 Well that explains it then!
    Thanks guys, much appreciated :T:T

Not exactly true ;) You only need 1 SPC in the shop for every other to compare to 16p :D:j

But you do need to buy in multiples of 3 including the SPC.

Worth exercising caution though such as having some of them cheapish ie; herbal essences 200ml for £1 otherwise your APG is going to be very large :(

Yup the cheapie triggers the cheap price for all the other products.

  • But would the 2L not comparison with T's as there's is cheaper at £2?

I was planning to combine the cleaning stuff with the dental stuff, so I hope that will make it compare to W. thanks

  • Hi

Don't post often but hair colours are also on 3 for 2 at Mr W so if you wanted one which didnt compare at tosco it maybe worth having a look.

If I find anything else I will let you know.

Fudgecake - DH used your local yesterday and couldnt believe how small it was, plenty of Value conditioner in our local, and a better choice, you will go though with out being noticed lol!

Lala there is another cheap hair gel which compares if your store dont have the value, I did see someone mentioned it yesterday but with how fast this new thread is moving it would be easy to miss! Its in a clear tub and purple in colour, its called Asda essentials extra firm styling gel its 25p. HTH
