Hi all, not been on for a while, just a quick peek now and again. I'm so far behind, you're loads of pages in on a new thread, and I've only seen the last three pages  Still, back in UK tomorrow lunchtime. I've had a lovely relaxing week in France staying with a friend who lives here. I'll do a proper catch up later, but until then hugs :D

hi everyone. went into boots today mainly to see if the half price lego they have on website is in store but was not big enough store for toys:( however the hand creams worked for me, i also picked up a disney princess perfume for £5 and got the 500 bonus points, my niece will love this at xmas. think going to have to order the lego online to collect instore.
also went to T's and my heart skipped when i saw 3 full clipstrips of springtime haribo (i'm sure these were 1p a couple of months ago) but they scanned at £1:(:(
off to catch up on today

Ahh but if you don't like lamb you don't like lamb - I can taste the smallest amount and makes me feel yuk so never eat it can also detect lamb stock if used as a base for a soup. Read your earlier post about foraging - if you make sloe gin it tastes nothing like gin - it is imho delicious - you could also pick the sloes and make the gin and give it out a pressies, if you do this don't pick them until they have had a frost on them. I have heard you can pick them and pop them in the freezer for awhile but not sure if it makes it as nice!

(Just realised you could be saying the gin drinking bit in jest :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:)

Fab piccie hope he and Westie are have a fab time

I think someone asked about bc on the smooth start - the shampers is 5488 and the cond is 5495

    Hi Bea :)
No, I wasn't jesting. I always think gin tastes like perfume :rotfl:
How do you make sloe gin then? Take some of the gin out of the bottle and bung the sloes in??
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.

    APG T&Cs
    20. The number of claims is limited to 10 per calendar month per household and the total amount that can be claimed is limited to £100 per calendar month per household.

Can anyone confirm that this works correctly please, resetting our APG limits for the new month yesterday?
  • For those who were asking about brown hair dye I bought these with a bottle of SP conditioner:

    1 x Clairol Nice 'n Easy Permanent Hair Colour - 114 Natural Light Ash £5.00 £0.16

    1 x Clairol Nice 'n Easy Permanent Hair Colour - 116 Natural Light Brown£5.00 £0.16
If you're not scared, you're not paying attention
  • I really wanted the Herbal essence so got a Dazzling shine shampoo 500 ml and matching conditioner 400 ml, went through at 2 for £4 but as I had the smartprice conditioner I got the apg and they had worked out as 16p each.

No idea about the smaller bottles sorry

    Thanks CW :)

Did they compare at £2 each because of the 2 for £4 or was it the full price? Just trying to work out roughly what the APG would be. Sorry for all the questions :o It was a whole lot easier when I was just buying Head and Shoulder for myself! Thanks again.

OK, can I ask what is probably a stupid question please? :o

Does it matter if the shampoo you buy isn't cheaper in T's?
Was looking at some of the 200ml bottles of Herbal Essences which are £1 in A's but £2.25 in T's, would that still work out? I know it wouldn't give such a big APG, so was thinking I could pick up a few more in the one shop iykwim.
The 400ml bottles are £3.26 but 2 for £4.00 so not sure if that would work out or best avoided?

Any advice greatly appreciated, thanks

These work very well for a 6 h/care item shop - I have been getting a couple each time as they are ideal for weekends away/swim bags, etc. Compare fine at 10p/16p/whatever

    I have tried

    Beautiful Ends Red Bottle OK
Tousle me Softly Purple bottle OK
    Dazzling Shine Green bottle OK

BUT! there is another very similar green bottle one called Fresh Balance Icy Pineapple - don't pick this one up by mistake like I did as it does not compare :o

edit - the big ones 2 for £4 work fine too, compare at £2 against 10p. Only difference is 10p per 200ml or 10p per 400ml.

Brilliant! Thank you so much :D
My little sister loves shampoo! (she's just about to turn 12) So was thinking I would get some of these for her, she'll be delighted! :rotfl:
