I've just handed her the bag as you've said, told her the total price for the lot (£3.23) and said that was what she got for that money, she took the hair dye and gave me the money and bag back said to keep it for going :rotfl::rotfl:

At least now you won't feel too put upon hun.:A

Well done for getting it sorted so quickly as well.

  • OK, can I ask what is probably a stupid question please? :o

Does it matter if the shampoo you buy isn't cheaper in T's?
Was looking at some of the 200ml bottles of Herbal Essences which are £1 in A's but £2.25 in T's, would that still work out? I know it wouldn't give such a big APG, so was thinking I could pick up a few more in the one shop iykwim.
The 400ml bottles are £3.26 but 2 for £4.00 so not sure if that would work out or best avoided?

Any advice greatly appreciated, thanks

We know where they are coming from. There is a hole under the tv corner where they are coming on from the back garden, and weve found themin the kitchen behind the sink cupboard. There was a leak under the sink a year ago. Every week for a year I have been ringing the landlord and every week they say someone will come out this week to take apart the sink cupboard, dry it out, repair the damage and replace the cupbaord. Every week they never turn up :( It took me 3 years to get them to replace the boiler. Im currently nagging them (aswell as the sink) about the electrics. When the boiler was installed, the electrician did a survery of the whole house and reported several faults. Every week I ring them about this, every week the deny any knowledge of any such report and say 'ill ring you back'. Ive never once heard back. Landlords want us to go through the council. Otherwise i'd sort it ourselves :(

Hun, can you bill the landlord for the council coming out to put poison down, sounds as though its his fault they are getting in.:(

I really wanted the Herbal essence so got a Dazzling shine shampoo 500 ml and matching conditioner 400 ml, went through at 2 for £4 but as I had the smartprice conditioner I got the apg and they had worked out as 16p each.

No idea about the smaller bottles sorry

fair enough but i hope you are passing on the bill. start sending emails or letters so can't deny. May need evidence in the future. hate it when landlords take the mick, its like your not paying them.

oh and i know about pest control because you must have it in factorys by law. And i'm the one dealing with that.
