Fantastic news Snap-Ant and I was relieved to read this laast night. Cluster headaches are bad but not as bad as it might have been, so I am so pleased for you both. Hope you both got a good night's sleep and 4p is feeling better today. ((((hugs))))queen_of_cheap wrote: »*STANDING OVATION*

DS and I sat and watched Dr Who tonight and the whole way through it I just thought about DH as this was our regular Saturday night thing and then one of us would go out to work.
Got and am still a bit upset thus the reason for only trying to catch up now.
Getting Sunderland results through does it for me, plus watching Olympics as he would have loved that we did so well. I miss having him tell me what to doMr 3Dogs 3-7-12

Fairclair sorry to post and run DS woke up being sick.
I can't say it'll get easy quickly but at least he's in the right place for it to improve and it will do this, remember there's light at the end of all this and hopefully both of you will get the support you need.
Ask them if there's anywhere you could go for some help too, some offer support and counselling to the family at the same time. It may just be someone you can talk to or more practical help. Just remember it's not just him who's been going through this, your needs may be different to his but you still need support.
BILs Sargent used to phone to let me know how he was getting on and gave me a number I could phone if BIL was worrying me at all. I was just happy he was getting the help he needed because I've known this guy from he was 10 years old, he was a young man I helped from then both DH and I looked out for him when he was a teenager and starting to get into trouble with the cops we sat him down and asked what he was going to do with his life. We told him we didn't want him to end up like the other lads in his area, the only thing he was interested in was joining the army when he was old enough so we had to explain that if he continued down the road he was on he'd never be accepted in. This straightened him out for the better, he grew into the most loyal, determined lad and very family orientated.
I just think that they need more routine psych evals when they come back from these places even quite a while after the event as with some it takes longer for problems to surface or it's the number of events they've witnessed that starts to affect them. If this was done we wouldn't have quite so many mentally ill.
Sorry for going on, hope you got a bit of sleep and post on here even if it is just to rant, I've found it helpsthere's always someone on who'll give you support, advice or even just a virtual hug or two. Take care xxx

No but I think some people have had trouble with buying Tresemme and it comparing to Sainsbobs instead of T3sco and using tommy K will help tip it to compare with T3sco. (i think)0 -
So sorry to read this Claire. So very sad and I don't think people realise what many of our troops have to deal with.:(
You have both done exactly the right thing and I truly hope you and your husband get the help and support you deserve.

To any of those who have deliberately disrupted this lovely thread recently.......please note that THIS is what matters most to us...a CARING, SHARING COMMUNITY, not somewhere to just take, take, take as much as humanly possible, thus spoiling it for others...... or deliberately cause trouble and provoke controversy.
This is a lifeline for many of our friends and it would be such a sad day if we lost it due to the inconsideration of just a few.
3Dogs.....hope today is a better one for you :A
4p.....hope you feel better today. I can sympathise with you, My daughter and I get cluster headaches too and they can be horrendous. I'm on preventative medication for it, maybe that's something you should discuss with your GP if it is something that's likely to happen on a regular basis
Fudge_Cake....Missed your posts. Lovely to hear from you again and hope thing improve for you :A
