sorry to hear this, there's no need to feel guilty, he's getting the help he need, hope he's home soon.fairclaire wrote: »don't know who's still up..I am. I have had a bad night.
my OH has been admitted to hospital tonight, our local mental health unit. I feel totally lost. we have been struggling for a long time. he was in Iraq last year and was badly injured. he lost 2 of his friends in the same attack. he is okm but did suffer some bad injuries.
he has been struggling for a while and tonight he just lost it. and I couldn't cope any more. He was suicidal and I was, for the first time, really fearful I would lose him. So I called for some help and thankfully it was there. but now I feel really guilty because he's not here. Probably not the place to be posting this. But this thread has been a lifeline to me over the last few weeks and has given me a place to concentrate on something differentseptember wins - toshiba laptop, timotei shampoo & conditioner, mccains games, pimms picnic blanket.

Morning everyone
Snap, great to hear you have fourp home again with you. Hope he is more comfortable now and continuing to recover x
Hugs to fairclaire - difficult and brave first steps but necessary ones, well doneEcho fudge2's comments - lovely post. Are you on your own at home atm? Think about having a friend or relative to stay for a few days or go and stay with them as I am sure you will have been through an awful lot to get to this point and the stress is huge. More hugs.
