Well it went better than expected at the vets, Percy's wounds are clearing of infection so we just have to keep up with the bathing and the antibiotics for now.
He has to go back in a few weeks for bloods so we can check his kidney levels and thyroid and see if his maintaining his levels.
And... he didn't poop in his carrier today!!:eek:

Hospital is in Shrewsbury so a bit of a trek. He was insistent that I went home to sort 'home' out.
Ambulance man gave me the contact No. for the unit he was being admitted to.

aarrgghhh - don't like leaving him on his own but there is nothing I can do until he rings me. I've topped up his mobile as he usually has 3p credit :mad:

My sister's car is being fixed today so hopefully will be sorted if we need to pick him up tonight...fingers crossed

Wayhay! Its Friday. Work free for 2 days.

I didnt manage to stay up last night to put in my tommy apgs so was very nervous tonight when I put them in but so glad it worked fine so a huge thank you to the OP.

So sorry to hear that some of the elite are not keeping so well. Thoughts and prayers are with everyone who needs them.

Been skim reading back a couple of pages - the shampoo thing has me soooo confused. When I check on some of the 342 on Tesco, they are on special at sainsburys etc. so could some kind soul please fill me in.

No B&Q this weekend so a quiet one for a change. Looking for to a relaxing couple of mornings without constantly being on the kids backs to eat breakfast, get washed, get dressed etc.
A more leisurely pace is just whats needed.

Away just now to try and catch up a wee bit. Will pop back later.:)

The boss wondered why one of his most valued employees was absent one day but had not phoned in sick . Needing to have an urgent problem with one of the main computers resolved, he dialled the employee's home phone number and was greeted with a child's whisper. ' Hello'

'Is your daddy home?' he asked. ' Yes,' whispered the small voice.

May I talk with him?' The child whispered, 'No.'

Surprised and wanting to talk with an adult, the boss asked, 'Is your Mummy there?' 'Yes'

'May I talk with her?' Again the small voice whispered, 'No'

Hoping there was somebody with whom he could leave a message, the boss asked,'Is anybody else there?'

'Yes,' whispered the child, 'a policeman. '

Wondering what a cop would be doing at his employee's home, the boss asked,'May I speak with the policeman?'

'No, he's busy,' whispered the child.

'Busy doing what?'

'Talking to Daddy and Mummy and the Fireman,' came the whispered answer.

Growing more worried as he heard a loud noise in the background through the earpiece on the phone, the boss asked, 'What is that noise?'

'A helicopter' answered the whispering voice.

'What is going on there?' demanded the boss, now truly apprehensive.Again, whispering, the child answered,

' The search team just landed a helicopter'

Alarmed, concerned and a little frustrated the boss asked, 'What are theys earching for?'

Still whispering, the young voice replied with a muffled giggle.………

Tesco's was out of stock. My local asda had 2 trays though So did my Sainsburys. Hope that helps.
