Letter from ESA means nothing...

I had my last ATOS assessment in February. I secured zero points and appealed against their decision.
Today I received a letter stating: "Your recent appeal will not now be sent to the Tribunals Services because we have been notified that the Decision Maker has reviewed your case and will issue a further decision."
What does that mean? Was my appeal successful or not? Yes I can wait, but I'm already stressed out. I did phone the DWP (waited 10 minutes to be connected to an operator), but they didn't know anything.
The whole system sucks. No wonder people have started to kill themselves (some poor chap even setting himself on fire a few months ago...).

They can stop the appeal, if they make a decision which is more favourable to you.
This seems to be what's happened.
(also, if your appeal is hopeless, but that does not seem to be the case in this instance)
If the decision could be more favourable yet, then you can seperately appeal this decision.
So, if you were appealing a zero points decision, you might have been awarded WRAG, when you want support group.0
