salary sacrifice with travel expenses

hello,

i work with a temporary agency Search and i ve got 2 hours driving each day to my work,
I applied to the salary sacrifice because they said that will help me paying less taxes, i understand that, but they use the travel expenses to be sacrifice, and i m not being paid for my travel expenses.
I read that salary sacrifice involves an employee giving up part of his entitlement to salary, wich is subject to income tax and national insurance contributions in exchange for non cash benefit.
they are not really right with me, it s difficult to understand everything, my last pay was 276pounds but i spend nearly 100 pounds for going to my work,
it s not really fair for people that try to work and live !
Is this case similar to the one with Reed ?
Can somebody help me ?
Sorry for any mistakes, i am french and in scotland since only 2 years ,
