I just thought I should update incase anyone is in same situation as me, I had my appeal on 28th March and I won! Was a big weight off my shoulders! They put me in wrag group and said I shouldn't be reassessed for another year.
I'm just wondering about backpay and increase of payment from them how long its taking at the moment? and is there a limit on how long they can issue the backpay to? Someone told me its limited to 6 months but this whole thing has taken almost a year?

Hi Kaylee, that is 'ggod' news, thanks for letting us know.

Your ESA will be backdated to the date of the original adverse decision. I have heard of people waiting for a couple of moths to get this, you might be able to speed up the process by sending a copy of the tribunal letter to the DWP office dealing with your claim.

Just a word of warning - the tribunal have no power to set the date of your reassessment. They do 'advise' on this but the DWP can, and do, ignore this :(
