Claiming tax back

I finished up work in the UK, in late May 2005, got my P45.

I'm 99% sure I sent the P45 to the tax office in September/October last year to claim my tax back and I'm fairly sure that I never heard back from them at least I don't remember hearing back from them.

Does anyone have any ideas for a number I could ring to follow this up?

it does take while but you should contact your local tax office and am sure they would be able to help you. When I sent mine in it did take a couple of months but I continued to chase it up just incase anything went missing. I had the monies.

If you can't find the number as your old company . Surely they would have a contact.

    good luck
