Moral dilemma…should I send this 12 string guitar back?

I'd reply to her email with an over the top polite reply apologising for not responding earlier as your mum / dad / pet cabbage was ill and you were unable to check your emails.

I wouldn't offer £20 to keep the guitar as they might think you're trying it on. Pay £65, say the guitar doesn't work, get a refund and then offer to buy it in it's broken state for less.

Think you should just give it back, Avoriaz...you know what some people are like...you will no doubt get abuse etc if they think you are trying it on.
