MET... New letter from Zenith

Received a second letter from Zenith today, a 'Notice of intention to commence legal proceedings'. I have been quite unruffled by most of these letters but I have to admit this one has me a bit rattled - partly because its not on the letter thread.
This was a charge for overstay at a free (?!) McDonalds car park because I naively didn't think to look for parking restrictions.
I have not acknowledged any letters so they don't know who was driving. I am right in thinking that its still the case that they can only sue the driver aren't I?
I've read all the threads so I am still pretty confident that they can't/won't follow through with these latest threats, but if anything has changed please let me know.
I can't add attachments, so if someone can direct me on how to add this latest one I would really appreciate it.

Well in the absence of properly stamped court papers you should continue to ignore.
What exactly are they claiming their damages are in a Free car park?
Do they even have the right to send the invoice as they have no interest in the land?0 -
Don't get me started JagDriver! I promised myself I wouldn't let them get to me but frankly I am getting fed up with them now. Any ideas on how to add this latest letter? - I am pretty sure I am not going to be the only one to receive it.0

Is it this letter, listed under CP Plus? Also there's a blurrier version under UKPC as well.

Always worth checking the other PPC listings who use the same debt collector.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Aha! Yes CouponMad! Thank you... Should I still try and upload so it can be added to the MET thread?
I take it the advice is still to ignore the morons?0 -
I would send a pm to Crabman and explain that you got a version of the linked letter, but from MET, and it's not shown under MET on the thread. Can he add the CPPlus version to the MET letter-chain please, or if he'd prefer a scanned MET version you could pm it to him first to check it's not got any personal info left on.
We don't need to see it on this thread and it wouldn't matter if the CP Plus version is shown under MET as the details are the same.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thanks Coupon-mad, I've updated the thread:Coupon-mad wrote: »I would send a pm to Crabman and explain that you got a version of the linked letter, but from MET, and it's not shown under MET on the thread. saffsmum - thanks for offering to upload. If the letter is identical to the one sent by CP Plus (that I've just added under MET) apart from the client name then I wouldn't worry about it (the less time innocent members of the public spend thinking about this, the better). I've added a note to the letter chains thread to say that the letter is sent on behalf of several PPCs.
I'll create new categories on the letter chains thread for the "debt" collection companies. Hopefully that will help those who receive one of their letters that isn't listed under a particular PPC on the thread.0 -

Zenith's letter is complete cobblers. They are nothing but debt collectors, they are not party to the alleged contract and they can't begin legal proceedings.Je suis Charlie.0 -
Another dirty rotten PPC trying to continue scamming the innocent.
People, google "Vehicle Control Services tax tribunal" and you'll see that a precedent was set. PPCs can not sue you for damages on land they do not own.
I'd love to see how the new bill of freedoms intends to over rule this legal precedent.0 -
Thanks people,
Crabman it is exactly the same - I will put it in the 'printer food' pile with the rest of them then!0
