Just curious as to how many days people list there items for on ebay? And do you find you sell more if you list for 7 days ?
I only tend to list for 3 days at a time and have only ever listed once for 7 days and it made no difference to my sales so would like to see what everyone elses does.

7 days - weekend to weekend. Means I don't have to be too careful about starting something within a fairly narrow window in the evenings and gives me plenty of exposure."Well, it's election year, Bill, we'd rather people didn't exercise common sense..." - Jed Bartlet, The West Wing, season 4

It all depends on the category. I sell mainly in antiques and collectables so have a limited market- so tend to opt for 7-10 days.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I always list on a Thursday evening for 10 days...That way you get 2 full weekends of exposure...;-))0

I list GTC as I have the same stock usually and it's a shop format. With the amount of lines I have it would take too long to manually relist. I am a bit of a 'automatic' software junkie!0

I list anything from 1-7 days depending on when I get my butt into gear to list things on ebay!
Then again I am only looking for pocket change, I'm not a business seller or anything. Puts a bit of money in my PayPal account for the bargains on Grabbit here0 -
What time of day do you find best to list?
Last time I listed to take advantage of free listing I left it until the evening and for 7 days. I had 12 watchers but in the end no one bid. So I wonder what time do you find best? Thanks.0 -

Do people find items sell better over a weekend ? As I don't normally list till a Sunday night but im just wondering if it's worth listing tonight or tomorrow.0 -
At the moment, it's anyone's guess, but I find that actually I get more sales where I'm selling during the week. I sell mostly books and DVDs, and I sell on Amazon, which might have slightly different clientele, but it's only this year that I have sold on FLWs and been listing at another time than in the evening --- and I have only sold three items
all summer on eBay so I don't have enough data to make a firm judgement.
