Just thought I would share this info incase anybody finds it useful!
I am currently on Eon economy 7 in a small bungalow. Not lived there long but seem to average £55-£60 a month. I hear the meter click over at 8.15pm, but that will change when the clocks go back.
I thought I would enquire about economy 10 as I am only out the house at uni 3 days a week, and during the days off would like to be able to cook/do washing/heat water etc during the daytime hours/evening and economy 10 would help me achieve this.
Had an online chat with an "agent" who said its available in my area and would install new meters for free. Will email again and find out if would have any cancellation charges etc (however we are renting and wont be there forever)
Heres the charges I was given:
Standing day charge 26.10
Off peak 8.69 per unit
On peak 15.7 per unit
Will dig out my Eon bill and compare later. Hope it may be helpful to somebody

Easy to switch with as well as its a single MPAN E10 and they existed in all regions at deregulation so the old ex regional suppliers should have tariffs for them and have no problem billing them.:rotfl: It's better to live 1 year as a tiger than a lifetime as a worm...but then, whoever heard of a wormskin rug!!!:rotfl:0

Compare to E.on Rht energyplan24:
Standing charge 6.52 p £1.83
Day first units 23.62p £16.30
Day units 14.88p £14.58
Night 11 kwh 6.05p £0.67
Rht normal 111 kwh 6 .57p £7.29
As can see hardly used at night, but that will change come winter...dont really understand the night rate....hmmm0
