Scottish Power Renewal Joke
Comments
-
I pride myself in seeking out the best energy deal.
My contract with Scottish Power ends on 30th September and the best price is some 15.8% above the current cost.:(
Has competition been abandoned ?
How can ordinary people be expected to cope with this?
LOL
That's a cracker!

HiYa backfoot,
- 15.8% above your previous deal, but how does that compare to
- other like~with~like % + deals with SP .. .. and other competitors in September 2012 ?Disclaimer : Everything I write on this forum is my opinion. I try to be an even-handed poster and accept that you at times may not agree with these opinions or how I choose to express them, this is not my problem. It relates to the best price on offer which is SP's Online Energy Saver 20 .
My previous contract is SP Direct October 2012. It has run about 14 months.
Talk is prices are going up again shortly and the above is a guaranteed below standard type product.
15.8%. What are wage/pension increases running at?
3% to 5% if you are very lucky.
How is it allowed to happen?0 -
15.8%! Sounds ridiculous. Don't know the ins and outs but a a glance that's mad!According to ABBA apparently it's a rich mans' world . . .:p0

It seems other readers also think it's a ridiculous increase. Have Scottish Power inadvertently added an extra 10% in error ?
Would SP care to comment please.
The majority of the country are having to cope with austerity measures and modest salary increases.
How are these increases going to be met?0 -
I have just moved onto the online fixed November 13 tariff.
Paying 7%more than my last tariff with SP.
Now gone and the Online Jan 14 fixed tariff is out.
Might be worth you considering? The secret to success is making very small, yet constant changes.:)0
