There is a minimum monthly funding requirement of £1,000. However this doesn't have to stay in the account. There is no mimimum balance (provided you are within your limit), they will match your current overdraft up to £2,500.0

my account only needs £500 to fund it a month .It is one of the reasons why I chose it .
Otherwise there is no minimum balance .0 -
Me too. Mine only needs the £500 per month.
I am also trying to set up an ISA with them at 8.5% but there seems to be some issue about it being too close to April 7th. Will look further into this as I want to invest £3000 and reap the rewards but if there is going to be a problem has anyone any idea if this would be a bad move.

This ISA is only for people opening a Premier Current Account at the same time, is that correct? Because i already have a Premier Current Account aswell & i thought i wouldn't be able to take this offer but then again..........
Alliance & Leicester Premier ISA - 8.10%

8.10% end tax year April 5th 2007, 8.10% for 7 days then 1.00% above the BOE Base Rate until 30.04.08

The 8.1% ISA gets very bad press here, I suggest you go over to the ISA board and read up about it.Reclaimed thanks to this site:

MajorR. I have just looked back through their site and you are right, it does say when you open the account. I have literally just opened it but I suppose even that is too late. I am going to look at the ISA board to see what's being discussed there before I commit my dosh. Always good advice there.NSK Zombie # SFD 7/15 Food Bank £0/£5
