Lidl Webcam Last Week....

Just wondered if anyone got this webcam last week from Lidl...
On paper it looks really smart... USB2.... 30fps etc....
I have tried it on a couple of different machines and it definately works... but only on the laptop I use at work... anything else whether it be through a USB2 or 1.1 port.... on a cleanly installed version of Windows XP.... even on a brand new PCI USB2 adaptor... the camera is either not detected or the video image is very poor...
But on the laptop it is fine...excellent picture and very smooth
I actually work in IT... and too be honest this camera has left me completely STUMPED!!
I can't see what I have set differently on the laptop.... has anyone else had any success (OR NOT) with this little cam?
Also I brought the Keyboard and Mouse pack... keyborad is really nice.... not so sure I like the feel of the mouse though...... hmm I haven't been too lucky with my latest LIDL buys
This is little or no technical support from SilverCrest/Anubis either...
