MBNA 0% on purchases until Oct

in Credit cards
MBNA have just offered us 0% for all credit card purchases until October - we also have a balance on at cheap rate until May, so any ideas how to deal with this gratefully accepted...
They are obviously trying to get us to spend out on the card, but I am sure I can use this to our advantage. If we spend at the moment, it will presumably lock in our current balance, making us pay it at the standard rate.
I presume we have to pay it off, then repay it back in to get the 0% back.
Any more help with this?Thanks
