Government Gateway problems

I don't know if it's just me, but I am trying to complete a dla form online, started it yesterday, and now I can't get back into the form.
I can get through the passwords ok, and the country, but when i click 'My Account' nothing happens.
I'm using government gateway and am pulling my hair out at present.

  • Download one to your PC instead. Click on the PDF version of the one you want and you can save each page as you complete and come back to it anytime. Then go back to it and update it/re word it if you think it needs alteration. Once happy, print it off and sign it where needed and off it goes. Was how I did it as I had lots of trouble CTC using gateway system a few years ago now.

I had the same problem viewing my account earlier this week, it did nothing when I wanted to look at my account and then did the same when I wanted to look at something in the account, I went off and made a cuppa cos nothing was happening and there is not even anything telling you it's loading but when I returned with my tea it was on screen and I guessed you just had to wait a few minutes for it to load without pushing the mouse again.
    Hope this works for you
  • Yes, I phoned them up and they said the same, click it once and then go to sometthing for a while until the page loads up :) Joking aside, I managed to complete the form using a friends pc with xp on it, but the helpline said they know it's bad but leave it up, although I think there may be a new online eservice in the future. Thanks for your advice.
