  • I give true date but I do wonder if some competitions are only awarded to people in certain age groups. There have been some on here where if you are over a certain age ( and I'm well over a lot of " certain" ages) they won't even let you enter! In such circumstances I suddenly become years younger. The head tells me I'm 18 anyway, just the knees that say " turn the numbers around!"
    Last win 2013!! Oh well.

Many thanks to our wonderful posters and apologies to the mods for all the postings I've made which then turned out that I've been pipped at the post.

As far as I remember I give my true details, but I also often pass on any comps that seem even a little dodgy.

And by the way, please don't apologise for asking questions. They're making me think too. It's interesting comparing and contrasting what others do. I know I won't be alone in that :)
I am brave, I am bruised
I am who I'm meant to be
I'm not scared to be seen
    I make no apology
    THIS IS ME!

When you talk down to others it says more about you than them.
  • I agree with Sassy165, potential identity theft is a worrying issue

And I do always give my true year of birth though - I am that age

But I can see no reason why anyone need know my actual birth date? Hope I'm not wrong, wouldn't want to loose a prize.

I use my correct D.O.B but with a digit changed, that way if I do win and they try to call withhold my prize because of it I can say it was a mistake and not that I was trying to giving false info
You'll have to speak up; I'm wearing a towel
