  • Personally I am wary now of the "print screen" feature, I take a pic using my digital camera instead.

Reason being that there are now several companies - Brainjuicer for sure, there are others - who will refuse the reward if you do this.

They claim this is because you are trying to steal their confidential data. Never mind they have just effectively done that to you, taking your info without reward.

I used to take a printscreen of the very first page (to show the time that I started the survey), one on the final page of the survey (to show what time it ended) and one of the 'congratulations' screen. I only tried it once with Brain Juicer and it said something like 'We know you have tried to copy this page' and promptly kicked me out. I don't know which other ones do it because to be honest I don't bother any more. Even with evidence of the first screen, the end screen and the congratulations screen I got nowhere with Swagbucks - just the usual 'the survey company have no record of you completing the survey.

I've just had a thought - there is something called a 'snipping tool' in Windows 7. I wonder if survey companies would recognize that? I don't know much about it apart from you can copy parts of the screen. I think I will experiment with that

For windows vista and 7 users there is a snip tool in accessories to do screen shots, very simple to use too.

Just done a survey for energy providers, no credit

Did get last collector card so i suppose i should be grateful for that.

Just tried the 'snipping tool' and it works really well - you don't have to paste into paint, just snip and save it as a jpeg. As Happi says, it is very simple to use. :)

This is the internet! You must look at cats!

Also, if you print screen, press on ctrl and alt at the same time, then you will only take a screen shot of the window you need. That's what I do so no one knows what else I have open! Mwah ha ha.

PL 30sb survey has yet to credit for me. T_T SS has a new video for me.

    32/100

I don't do cats I'm afraid - they make me sneeze! I'll stick with Guns 'N Roses and Aerosmith.

Thanks for the tip. I'm going to get organised now, note every survey I do and take a screen shot at the end.

Mind you, I had a Trusted Survey that didn't credit - from memory you had to register with Harris Polls at the end. I had an email from them so was able to contact support about it and give them a copy of the email. The reply I had was completely unintelligible and asked for any confirming emails. They obviously didn't read my email so I sort of gave up trying after that. The only help or interest shown was from Trial Pay. I have this problem with the surveys with the green band across the top. They treat me as American and then tell me I have been engaging in irregular activity on my computer. They did offer suggestions but weren't able to put it right. I contacted Peanut Labs about the same problem and I just had the standard reply and they never got back to me.

I edited anearlier post to say I have almost mastered the screenshot, but don't know how to get it on here, other than copy + pate, but it says post has too many characters, even when I edit the screenshot. I also tried saving it to my pc, but the image button on here is for ones saved on a web page.....so near and yet so far lol.

I've given up putting tickets in for non crediting surveys, SB's just fob you off saying the surveys are not hosted on their servers so can't help.

They have always helped when offers don't credit however.

If you open a photobucket (or other online open image/file uploading site) you can then upload the picture and can put it on this forum through image no spaces.

@janeken: I actually quite like harris poll, they give decent rewards. But then I've been with them a lot longer than SB. Just don't screen shoot brain juicer ones! Though they are my most hated ones.
