is it normal to not qualify for many surveys?
You can sometimes go for a couple of days without getting a Trusted Survey (and even then get DQ'd) whereas other days you can get 3 or 4 or more. There are not usually many Trusted Surveys available at the weekend (I've not had any at all this weekend so far). Survey companies are laws unto themselves and getting accepted for a survey or disqualified is something you just cannot predict. You will see posts on here where people are DQd from every survey they try on one day, and yet the next they can be accepted for quite a few. It really all depends on the criteria that the survey companies are needing for any particular survey. The worst part of doing surveys is when you spend 10 or 15 minutes completing one then suddenly get DQd, or you complete one and then don't get credited. All I can suggest is just to keep trying - and keep looking on here because you will see which surveys others have had problems with or successesSwagbucks joined 5th July 2012 - Earned 2012: Amazon - £300 - 2013: Amazon - £610

This is beyond a joke now! Numerous vids (and the same coming up) not crediting and some telling me I need to update my Flash Player and still not playing the vids when I have. NO credit!!
Cath, are you getting the update Flash Player problem on Chrome?Swagbucks joined 5th July 2012 - Earned 2012: Amazon - £300 - 2013: Amazon - £610

I'm not using chrome (couldn't get on with it) I am using Firefox, but Cally said SB could ban you for using it, so am trying IE, but having same problem with the videos re-appearing and not crediting, tho it hasn't always been the case this am as I am on 47 from 13 when I logged in (refs) but not moving from it despite loads of video play. Bond video is also telling me I need to be over 18 to play and IE is also crashing on me! I seem to be the only one SB hates today. No TS either! Edit: Hotel GB on Supersonic played and dg jumped by 9sb for a search I did that never told me it had been successful!0 -

Have you checked your ledger to see if it's just the daily goal meter that's not working? If the credit for the vids are in your ledger, then you need to log out of Swagbucks then log back in again and it should solve the problem with the meter.
With regard to the problem that you were having with the flash player saying you need to install it, did you reboot your computer after installing? If not, try it and see what happens. If it still does not solve the problem, then I would uninstall flash player through Control Panel/Uninstall a program (or better still uninstall with Revo Uninstaller if you have that program). Then go to
[URL="http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/?
no_redirect"]http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/?no_redirect[/URL]
and install again (untick the box about McAfee security scan plus first). When it is installed, reboot your computer and see if that works.
I would seriously think about checking out Google Chrome again, though, because it has its own inbuilt flashplayer - I have very few problems with it and it is much quicker than IE and FirefoxSwagbucks joined 5th July 2012 - Earned 2012: Amazon - £300 - 2013: Amazon - £610

I have just counted the number of SB's awarded in my ledger and they are all correct and tally with the DG meter (although that does seem to be on a delay crediting the search that didn't show as successful) I will uninstall and install Flash Player from your link (I did do a reboot when I updated earlier, but no joy) and also try Chrome. Thanks Paul for your help as always. Only 4sb's needed for the DG!0 -

I think it's highly unlikely you'll be banned for using firefox. It's one of the most popular browsers out there, and if using firefox was a bannable offence (not sure if that's a word) I doubt they'd make the toolbar available for firefox. I use firefox too and I'm sure we're not the only ones.
I use chrome occasionally (usually when firefox is having a tantrum) and find that it does work better for some things on swagbucks, but it's like 6 of one and half a dozen of the other!0 -

Hi Claire. I just did all the things Paul suggested and still having problems. I looked at Chrome again, but seriously can't navigate it (its on the Chrome shop tab) I didn't use the link Paul posted for Flash as when I uninstalled it FF suggested I re-install so went from there. Claire, do you get the little message 'Firefox prevented from automatically re-loading' on the Supersonic wall? Really don't know what's going on today and feel like giving up!0 -

I've just checked and the supersonic wall loads fine for me. Have you tried clearing your cache? Or the simple 'turn it off and on again?'
Don't give up! With chrome I ignore most of the 'fancy bits' I just type the swagbucks address into the address bar and go from there. I think it just takes a bit of getting used to, it took me a while to get used to Firefox when I finally realised IE wasn't my only option!0 -

I think it's some kind of autorefresh on firefox that could get you banned. I stopped using Firefox as much because I found Chrome to be quicker, but it really is down to everyone's individual preferences and as you say, some browsers work better for some things on Swagbucks than others. I found that Surveys were not crediting for me with Firefox - I still have no idea why - so now I do them through Chrome or IE. I think it's a case of seeing what works best for individual things then sticking with it. When they update browsers that is when things can go a bit haywire.Swagbucks joined 5th July 2012 - Earned 2012: Amazon - £300 - 2013: Amazon - £610

IE is so bloated and slow, havent used it for years.
I use firefox for my day to day internet stuff and chrome i only use for swagbucks, just so no offers or anything ever interfere with how my firefox is set up.
Chrome can be confusing at first. I hated that there was no home button, but this can be easily added in the settings.
Also, i highly doubt anyone will ever be banned for using firefox. Thats like saying ipad users arn't allowed to use public wifi but android users can. Cutting off a large portion of users.Swagbucks since July 2012 - £300 Paypal, £330 Amazon
