Capital One Card

I have recently took out a capital one card and received my pin in the post. I received an email saying my card was dispatched on the 22nd August but when I rang them they said it will not arrive until 10th September. Has anyone else had any issues like this. I assumed it would arrive today or tomorrow and specifically came back from my parents to pick it up before returning for 2 more weeks. Im fuming with them as it was cleared back on the 15th and that is more than 7 days from now.

    Why is it being sent to your parents address not your own?
    Could you not have contacted your parents to ask if it had arrived before setting off?

    No I am stayin at my parents atm as getting some work done but they live about 2 hours away in the car so I cant keep coming back and forth.

    So why did you not phone/email/skype/text etc etc before setting off?

    I live alone there is nobody to ring or skype or email to see if the card has arrived.
