Few questions?
1) eon have charged us £180 for one month (three bedroom semi), is this a usual amount because they said it was correct but we were usually being charged around £100 a month?
2) Is the EDF blue+ price promise 2014 good because apparently i can save over 70 a year?
3) Are EDF a good supplier

I've just signed up to EDF blue from npower. I had prepayment meters in this house when I moved in, but couldn't get the original supplier British Gas to change to a credit meter. I had noticed the meters seemed to be swalling money like it was water compared to my previous house (same size, same frugal useage). Comparison sites said I'd be better off with Npower. Then Npower lost my Gas meter, then they lost (stopped) the fixed tariffs, (I missed one cause the transfer took so long, by the time it was sorted out, they had stopped the replacement fixed tariff). They also managed to lose my phone call in the middle of me giving them my address lol! Customer services seemed quite surprised that I wasn't interested in their discounted tariffs.
I tell myself that EDF can't be as bad as my experience with npower. Time will tell.
I am very careful with my electricity and gas useage but tend to use roughly £130 a month if averaged out. Tariffs may be higher than I am used to in Kent though.0 -

Hi mrpatel425,
I think this sounds a bit like a catch up bill, have your previous bills been estimated? And have you have now provided an up to date reading?
It basically means that we have underestimated your usage for a period of time and now the account is billed to an accurate read, this usage catches up. So it looks like you have used a lot of energy in a shot space of time when really it's from previous weeks as well.
Have a look at previous bills, this will help you understand.
If you need any more help from me though, just ask.
