You appear to be very worried about OH? If it were me, I would sell up and move closer to work and close to a good school. Is this an option? You also need to cut your spending. All this is very difficult without support from OH though

She does realise the situation now and has been making suggestions on saving money.

Can't just sell up that quickly though, need to find somewhere else to live. Plus we still need the final sign off from the building regs people, can't sell without that. There shouldn't be any problems, but who knows what they might find. Guess just need to get them back round to finish their job. (Need to check the costs on that).

I appreciate suggestions but living with parents isn't an option. No one near , we've just changed schools, oh's have split up, so they are both in tiny places and mine are just selling up to downsize themselves.

I'll chat with her later this evening about the payplan chat. We are both facing up to this, just at a different pace but we'll get there. The thought of another loan is too scary to seriously contemplate and I think the penny will drop just a bit faster after this. Tx.
