£50 delivery is a bit steep isn't it - particularly if you have to then help the delivery driver carry it in!!!

I am really interested in one of these, but feel begrudged forking out so much for some guys petrol.

frizz_head.... Try and look at it as £298 including free delivery! After all you are getting a DVD player and freeview included over the £250 one with Curry's. I think Digital Direct would be better including the postage in the prices though my guess is they exclude it so that their prices look lower on the search engines. I wanted to collect from them to save the postage but they don't allow this - so I ended up going for a Freeview Sony from Curry's.

I bought the Sony 1 from Currys,26/030/ and its still siting in the box waithing for currys to collect, had enough of them,Bl**dy premium numbers, doing a Credit card charge back.
And as from 08/04/05 i have informed Currys that a £10 per day storage charge will be inposed by me.And after 14 days,i will presume that they have given it to me gratis.

Beware of currys customer services and 0870 numbers
A thankyou is payment enough .

Thats not nessicerialy true, Providing you get a good digital input into your tv (ie not the analouge one sky give you) then you should get a better pic, plus when HD is more widespread the HD enabled TV's will be superb. CRT also depends upon the tube quality.
