    The generic answer is no. It will even vary from one manufacturer's 1000mm rad to another manufacturer's 1000mm rad.

    How much it varies though will affect whether or not you can get away with it.

    I've never taken a radiator off to decorate, too much hassle.

    Mojisola that's a good idea, I didn't realise new ones were so cheap, I might look in to that.
