I'm wondering if any of you could recommend any good oven cleaner and where you can buy it from?
They only do one sort in the Tesco /Sainsbobs near me and it's expensive and doesn't work that well.
I'm wondering if maybe Wilkos or somewhere else does a good value cleaner whcih is effective.

Not sure what its called, think maybe Oven Pride, Its in an orange box anyway, around £5ish.. (guess)
Works pretty good.. we use it all the time0 -
Another vote for Oven Pride , more like £3.95 in all of the bigger super markets.
Then use Lake Land oven liners0 -
Thanks, I've seen the oven pride before but always think it's pretty pricey as reading the instructions it seems that you use it all in one application - which isn't very MSE when it's ~£4 a go.
I like keeping my oven clean on a regular basis rather than giving it a blitz when it's really mucky so am wondering if there's something more useful for this I could buy.0 -
Tagging on to this, but does anyone have any recommendations for self-cleaning ovens? Unlike the OP I am a big fan of blitz cleaning.0

Oven pride all the way for me!
I know it says to use the whole bottle on 1 application, but I normally get away with 2 -3 cleans per bottle. I just use a cheap washing up brush to apply the gel and find that I still get the amazing results as I would with using the whole bottle.
It would be really easy just to squirt the whole bottle on and leave it, but I find 5 minutes of brushing it on, saves about 2/3 rds of the bottle and I still get a gleaming oven!0 -

another vote for oven pride, brilliant stuff, only used it once but done a double oven and was amazed how clean the racks wereTreat other's how you like to be treated.

Totally agree, Oven Pride all the way. I wasn't prepared to pay the £5 at the large supermarkets, so paid £3.?? at Poundstretchers, I am sure it was on a special when I last went there too.
