Quick Q - Does major works commence once the fees are all paid?

As above, if there is a demand for a charge to cover major works, will it delay the works if people take their time in paying? Or does the work get booked and the fees recovered seperatly?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Unless there is an existing reserve fund, then the landlord or agent would be daft to proceed without the ability to pay the contractor. They to would be daft to start if they were not assured that they were going to be paid.
When you pay depends on your lease.
I suggest you speak to the landlord/agent and see what the progress is.Stop! Think. Read the small print. Trust nothing and assume that it is your responsibility. That way it rarely goes wrong.
