off work sick and going on holiday

hope someone can give me a reply please
i work a few hours a week and don't claim ssp i am on the sick being paid by my employer i have being off for 10 weeks and had booked a hoilday prior to being off sick
the doctor has okayed it and has gave me another sick note for 6 weeks but will work be alright with this?
is there any rules i must know
i haven't contacted them yet

the two things i know is you cant get sick pay and hoilday pay for the same period and the other is if you have book leave and you are sick on the hoilday leave you can cliam back the hoilday leave as you were of sick

so will i have to come off the sick and then go back after my holiday or will i be able to have my holiday entiltlement after i get back to work
i am worrying about being away while off sick but the doctor says im unfit for work

The doctor has said you are unfit for work and has also okayed you going on your holiday - he /she may think that the holiday will do you the world of good. The doctor has given you another 6 weeks off sick - they don't give out sicknotes for weeks if they haven't good reason.

I really can't see how you can go to your doctor and say take me off sick while I go on holiday and then put me back on it - I take it this is what you mean? Why don't you tell your employer that the doctor has given you another 6 weeks but has advised you to take the holiday? If they are funny about it tell them that your doctor can verify this.
