*bit of a moan sorry, feel free to skip!*
Well I've so much going on in my head at the mo, I have totally given up trying to no spend money! Not gone mad just know it's been little bits here and there.
I feel constantly on edge, everything seems to be changing and I just hope its for the better! I am going to the new job tomorrow to talk through it, give bank details, copy of passport etc. It's a VERY big well known group, I'm scared they didn't mean to pick meNot discussed salary yet which is why I don't know for sure what I'll do.
We had a "meeting" at work on Monday with the whole Account team, which basically was an opportunity for the directors to criticise everything we do. The main point of contention being that we don't use the newly installed games room and gym after work (because we all have lives out of work and want to go home). Not sure why that matters but it seems to be a massive deal!
Final straw was when one director screamed at us (direct quote): "You think you're all so much better than everyone else, you're all so f**king arrogant. You all deserve pay cuts and if you're not happy with that you know what you can just f**k off. But you'll be BEGGING me for your job back in 2 months time."
So was pretty happy when I got the call that night bout the new job. So nervous, hope tomorrow goes ok! Just needed to get that off my chest

Hi JCG
Your post made me so angry:mad: Managers/directors have no right to speak to staff like that, what a complete !!!!! that person is
It's no wonder you're on edge having to put up with that treatment every day, it must be sapping your confidence and self-esteem. That's probably why you're doubting whether your new company meant to offer you the job - of course they did. You're very conscientious and seem to really care about what you do, you'll be a real asset to them.
Just be yourself tomorrow, hold your head up high and just think.... you can tell that idiot where to stick his job in a few days' time
Chin up, sending you a massive (((hug)))
spoon xx
PS: no need to apologise for having a rant, we're allowed to rant on here - Freeby's told us all that:)
PPS: oops, I've been censored:D:oThe time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time

Just popping in to say hi. Not a NSD for me today, as had to go and get milk to cater for a friend who is staying over tomorrow night. A group of us are going out for a meal and aforementioned friend lives 30 mins away and doesn't drive. So she's crashed at mine a few times.
Also took the opportunity to pre-order the live DVD of new the 'Jesus Christ Superstar'. I love that show, and love Tim Minchin who's playing Judas even more! That'll be a nice little pre-xmas gift to myself.
Also, just wanted to say thanks to the people who contacted me with regard to making a donation to the SMA Trust. We have been overwhelmed by people's generosity, having now raised over £2,000! Thank you!Because it's fun to have money!
