Not for me sadly! Had to take myself back to the hospital after my 3-week old operated on eye seemed to be getting worse rather than better. The consultant pulled out some of stitches with tweezers because they seemed to be the main source of irritation. Still some left causing issues, but they are buried just under the surface, so they'll just have to be left to disolve when ready to.
Did try and be frugal though! I parked off the hospital site and walked the last bit of the way so that parking is cheaper!Because it's fun to have money!

It was almost not an nsd today because I had a 'senior moment':I was convinced I'd left my packed lunch at home, and was going to get something from the canteen, but happily discovered that I'd put it in the staff fridge, like I do every working day.I just don't remember doing it.:o
So that's #16 for today please!
silvasava,ChopinonaBudget,Pips Mum see you in October.A wee break can do the world of good!

Havent spent so much in a long long time but having lost weight I really needed to get at least some winter clothes that fit me.I am a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Mortgage Free Wannabe & Local Money Saving Scotland & Disability Money Matters. Ouch! Hope it starts to get better soon xx
I must admit to loving hospital type documentaries & love watching proceduresexcept when it's the eyes and I'm very squeemish about them!

Oh joy :rotfl: think it's quickly heading in that direction!
Well not one for me - visited DM and we went shopping (always fatal - I seem to spend a fortune when I go out with her!).
However, I'm relatively pleased as did manage to get 2 new pairs of boots - due to my knackered feet, I can't wear shoes and have to wear hiking type boots.
Not easy to find good (and well priced) ones, especially as I do try to find a plain black pair for work.
Well .... not only did I manage to find one black pair, which I got for £18 (RRP £69.99), I also managed to find a nice brown (sounds awful:o) pair for £22 (RRP £79.99) so I've something to alternative with at the weekends/outside work.:T
Current pair were £12 (Li*dl last year just before my op) and have been worn nearly every day since:eek:
They will now be relegated to dog walking duties (what they were originally bought for but didn't have any others for work:o) and the dog walking ones (complete with holes:o) can go in the bin!
Phew! Happy Rising!:DGrocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

Ohhhhh and even happier as I finally managed to find a reasonably priced fold down table - so I've finally got somewhere to put my sewing machine up!:j Have really missed being able to do the odd "project" since I lost my kitchen table.
I've been looking for ages (remember looking in the Jan sales so it's a while!) and can't afford a new one so this will do fine for now.
Not the prettiest thing ever, but I can throw a throwover it when it's not in use - managed to wangle £5 off so £20 paid! :T
Right ..... no more spending!:eek:Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)
