Sprucing up and replacement parts for secondhand pram

Options
Hi, I've managed to get a second hand silvercross pram fairly cheap.

Is selling for 600 in shops and I got it for 70 :)

It's in good condition for the most part but as this is my first baby I want it to look as good as new if I can.

The wheels could do with being replaced.

The hood of the carry cot has some paint or something on it.

The cover in the car seat is a bit bubbly.

Any ideas on where I could buy new ones of these (dont have to be silver cross)

The pram I was going to buy brand new was purple so I'd quite like the idea of adding a bit colour to this.

I don't know the knows of all the bits of fabric that go here and there to ebay search so any help would be great.

Also do all wheels fit all prams?

Silver cross sell spares directly, if it is the surf you can buy a colour accessories pack, approx £150, you might find it cheaper used on ebay. Search "model" accessory pack.

I have this pram it is fantastic isn't it? Silver Cross have fantastic customer service in my experience so hope they can help you. Ebay do tend to sell the wheels for around £15 each, although there aren't any on there atm. Just a point to note it is not usually recommended to use a second hand car seat so if you do decide to get a new one I'd recommend trying the outlet section of the Silver Cross website - I got my Ventura Plus for £55 inc p&p (although it wasn't in the marina colourway which is navy and cream so didn't match the pram ... didn't bother me or bubs though :money:)
  • I'd give Silver Cross a call and check prices first before eBay but that's because I'm paranoid about knock offs lol. I had to find out wheel prices recently for our pram and the prices were similar to pp prices on eBay so might be easier going through Silver Cross because their customer service is pretty good too. I second pp comment about new car seats too :)
