Hi, sent off first letter to hsbc couple of weeks ago to claim £180 (i know its not a lot but was for going overdrawn only TWICE!!) and they have sent me a letter back to say they are looking into my claim. How long should i have to wait for a decision? It hasnt given any time scale on the reply, should i ring up to enquire or send second stage letter in a week or so?
Thanks in advance...

Stick to your time scales and dont wait for the bank.
If you letter gave them 14 days then give then 14 days.
Once this is up move onto the next stage and send them the next letter0
