  • Patchwork cat - I use dried milk powder to make porridge. I just put half a tablespoonful of the dry powder in with the oats and a little sugar and salt and top up with cold water, then microwave for 3 mins. Enough for one hungry (greedy) person!

    My budget isn't quite this tight but always looking for ways to save more pennies and the ideas here will certainly help with surviving the run up to payday :-)

    Looks good and I can see lots of HM soup being produced from that lot :):):) especially the Butternut squash
