Hi
I am today putting my house on the market but just have a few questions before i do. The house i am selling will have made a profit and want to use this money as deposit for new house (Though putting £1000) down today to secure the house i want, soilictors fees , stamp duty and estate agents fee's. Am i able to do this. I am aware i will have to pay some costs up front such as searches etc Just want to clairfy i can do this or do i have to pay everything up front eg give the solicitor a deposit then the money left from my sale given back at a later date. Just want to get things striaght in my head .

I would check with the solicitors dealing with this for you.
