and why do I find myself constantly having to repeat something............


I go into the bank and say I want too pay this into my savings a account stating how much and giving girl the card ..........so 1 she puts in current not savings account after asking how much I am paying in??????????? so wasted another 20 mins whilst she corrected her mistake.

I went to mcs the other day asked for reg drink and reg fries with the burger - what do I get a meal deal with medium drink and fries.................so i asked what did I just order and get a blank look - I told the girl since when does reg drink and reg fries and a cheesburger sound like a qtr pounder meal please...............doh

and these are english not polish which is a whole other ball came in trying to communicate..................

You asked for "a reg drink and reg fries" with your burger. THAT IS A MEAL DEAL.

No wonder people look at you strangely. It's not that they don't listen, it's just that you don't have a clue what you're on about yourself!!!

I think before you start criticising the Poles, you should perhaps enrol in some English lessons "too". :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

No it's not. You get medium fries and drink with a meal deal. Reg fries and reg Drink are the same size as the ones you get in a happy meal. Also a cheese burger is also totally different from a quarter pounder with cheese. So the OP was correct in what she posted about the person who served her not listening to what she actually said/ordered.

Maybe you should consider getting your facts right before you criticise anyone else for getting it wrong.

Lemontart, next time it might be easier to order a cheese burger happy meal, that way you are more likely to get what you asked for

For a more drastic example, I once booked a flight to Khartoum. Yes, to Khartoum, in the Sudan, in Africa. In those days there was no internet, so you had to book flights by telephone. So I gave the agent all my details, dates of travel, credit card number, confirmed everything. Towards the end of the call, she read everything back to me to make sure that it was correct...
and she had booked me on a flight to Katmandu, in Nepal, in Asia, many thousands of miles from my intended destination!

Perhaps if service staff actually listened to the customer to ascertain what is actually required then I would not get fraustrated by results..............twice in one day was annoying to say the least after all they are paid to serve not to give what they think is what I want and not what I asked for.

As you say it is my time and they wasted it by not actually listening, not to mention wasting their time in having to redo something.

They are a giant. They dont care about your 15 or so minute wait.

The staff are getting paid to watch you wait! The staff are getting paid to remake your order.

Your profit to them so insignificant that you cannot possibly understand in their grand scheme of money making.

Oh, well I fancy a Mchicken Mcswaggart and a Mcmilkshake....!
