buildings insurance query?

had a claim on my buildings insurance 3 years ago- blocked drain due to tree root damage. Since then have not been able to get subsidence cover on my house insurance without a report ( costly) from a tree surgeon.
Am currently paying £ 45 a month insurance- without subsidence- anyone know of anywhere else I could get cheaper insurance? Been told the insurers we are currently with are specialist insurers

I definately think you could get a cheaper policy elsewhere but most insurers aren't going to cover subsidence.0
