in Credit cards
Hi there, I have posted a couple of times, just to ask, I recently opened a current account with chequebook, overdraft, My salary has been paid in twice now of £4000 per month.
I was thinking of applying for a credit card, They gave me a £1000 overdraft as a new customer, but I wanted to apply for a credit card, as I dont have a lot of credit, no loans hp, etc, I only have a mobile phone & 1 credit card with a £1000 limit.
Should I apply, or leave it for a few months, Thanks.
And will the credit checks be the same as my current account, also do they check if you have money in your account, or is that not part of the checks, Thanks

As you obviously have no money in your account, wait until you do. No one here knows for sure whether having money in your account makes a difference or not, but its likely to.0 -
Thanks, at the moment, of today there is £2500 plus my £1000 overdraft in my account, dont know if that makes a difference or not, Cheers0
