Hi,
We are asking for estimates and considering having an IKEA kitchen but would like to hire a fitter with some experience on them. Anyone can recommend one in Surrey..?
Thanks

Have you asked for quotes from Ikea themselves? I thought they were quite reasonable. The forest would be very silent if no birds sang except for the birds that sang the best0

Ikea kitchen fitting prices are pretty over the top like the rest of the big companies selling kitchens.
A lot of fitters dont like fitting Ikea to much but you should be able to find someone local.
Sorry I can recommend anyone but if your family and friends cant help you ask on https://www.kitchenfittersforum.co.uk . Good bunch of fitters on there who know what they are doing.0 -
Agree with the above. All the big companies sub it out anyway, they overprice, cream a large chunk off the top for themselves and squeeze the fitter on his costs. Not conducive to a having a happy customer. Frankly I don't know why so many fitters are agin' Ikea kitchens. They really are't that challenging but they do require a little bit of forward planning and thought.

Many thanks for your replies, I prefer an independent fitter and there's also work to do on the kitchen apart from just fitting the kitchen (floor, walls, plastering, etc).
Will take a look at that forum.0
