Just wondered if anyone knew of a good spec PC for under £500 I have a Dell Dimension 3000 (yep very old!) so need something better.. PC getting slow and can only hold 2GB Ram memory! need something with a better graphics card (for the occasional game) but don't need a monitor, the more under £500 the better though! thanks!

Unless you have a good independent computer shop near you ebay is probably your best bet.
You should easily be able to find a tower sub £500 and i would imagine anything you do buy would be substantially better than your previous model.
When you say occasional game, what do you mean? Are they high end games released this year or a few old classics you like to enjoy? If you want to play this years games have a look at their requirements to give you an idea of what you need.0 -

this is on ebays weekly deals. Maybe a bit too 'fancy' looking but specs seem ok. Well it gives you an idea what you can get for your money anway.
Not saying this is a fantastic deal (bit ood with computing) or the greatest hardware but like i said its probably massively better than yours?!0 -
backup, factory restore, 20 minutes work, then it won't be slow.!!
