Would you be ok just to edit the title for indexing by date/clarity please eg:
E: 31/08 Win a Pair of Peppa & George Beanies
rather than:
E: Friday 31st August 2012 @ 12.00noon Win a Pair of Peppa & George Beanies

Just click edit & advanced
If left as is it will be indexed wrong so you end up with the issue that can be seen on page 1 of this view of the board.

7 How can I amend my thread title if I need to?
To edit the thread title you can click 'Edit' then select 'Go Advanced'.

The next screen will show your post & above it you will see 2 boxes 'Reason for Editing', which you don't have to complete & also 'Title' which has your thread title info in it.
Simply click into the Title box & amend your text as necessary.

Changed the date format, sorry about that. Shouldn't I leave the time in though as otherwise people might think they can enter later on that day?

Hi,up to you :-)
Personally I would date it as E: 30/08,& leave the time off, if it ends early on the 31/08.I do this on the Johnston Press comps that usually end at 10am.I'm not 100% but I think adding the time may mess the date searchingup as the usual format is E: ??/?? Win.......
That way the "enddaters" get a fair chance to enter & the majority of us will see it.
I know some will disagree but I just find it annoying to try & enter a comp late in the day that ended that morning.
