Help with PPI
Dis2011
I have credit cards that I have had for a long time, I emailed one of the companies (Barclaycard) and asked if there was any PPI on the account and they said there was none on this account, Is there any way I can check my cards with out asking the companies direct.

This may shock a few of the more financially savvy people on this site, but during a tidy up i open a few Barclaycard statements from 2006/2007 and noticed that on the second page it stated something called Payment Protection Plan so i rang the phone number given on this web site (0844 811 9111) and after a few automated questions got through to a 'real' person. He agreed that it was PPI and forwarded my claim.FYI i applied for the card by phone and it seems the PPI was activated four days later?.0

Many credit card PPi sales were arranged post application over the phone. Indeed, probably the most common way of selling it.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
